You will need to have 3 pieces that you select for your anthology. One must be a short story, and one must be a poem, but the form of the other piece is up to you. Keep in mind that you may choose a movie or other kind of creative medium, but I’m still expecting a close-reading analysis of it, which we haven’t practiced together (so it may be more difficult to do well). Write an introductory note that analyzes and interprets the piece, making sure to connect it to your overall theme; these should be at least 1 page each. Lastly, you should have a 3-page (minimum) synthesis of your pieces with additional outside research to make a larger argument about your overall theme, for a total of 6 pages.
