Write an essay identify, describe and explain the Reform and Political Era elements as part of the Traditional Policing Model. Identifies, describes and explains the Community Oriented Policing Model. Students will compare and contrast the two models. Elements such as patrol functions, professionalism, leadership styles, and positive and negative implications of each approach are to be discussed and explained. Students will compose a hypothetical example of the SARA model applied to a neighborhood crime problem.
