travel to an art gallery/ online gallery, during this semester* view artwork from a single exhibition at one art gallery or museum In each paper I require that you discuss at least three different works of art within each exhibition write at least 800 words using of the concepts and terms you`ve been learning about in the textbook (see below) *Due to Covid-19 you can complete this assignment fully online…or if you want to safely go to an art gallery in-person, you could do that too! In the Gallery Review Module there are pages with suggestions of galleries to use for both in-person and online! If you want to view the online gallery review than you can log on the canvas using my log in and password as follows: One you login than go to courses and select ART 160, than got to modules and under gallery review assignment select online gallery list. I prefer that you use the online gallery because my professor is very attentive and he wants us to review something that is currently on display at the museum. Last time someone wrote for me about an exhibition that was not in display and my professor questioned me about that. Focus on the terms and concepts presented in Section 2: Media and Process, such as : the materials of painting, print making, sculpture, architecture, the tradition of craft, visual communication design, photography etc. as well as what you`ve learned from Section 1. In your analysis of the exhibit, discuss what the artist has created – is it a drawing, painting, photo, etc. How did they create the work? What skills does the artist have? What processes did they use? Don`t forget to still correctly use the terms and concepts from Section 1 as well – Line, Shape, Space, Color, etc.
