Research Paper/Class Presentation involving the analysis of the annual report of a city government. Research Paper/Class Presentation should include at least a ten page paper with a PowerPoint presentation demonstrating the effective use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Areas covered will include a minimum of the following:
1) Brief History about the City and City Officials
2) Brief Descriiption of Each Fund
3) Financial review of Fund Financial Statements
4) Financial review of Consolidated Government Financial Statements
5) Brief Summary of interesting footnotes
6) Conclusion on Overall Financial health of city government
The ten pages for the paper includes the title page and should use Times New Roman 12 point font and be double spaced. An excel table should be incorporated into the paper somewhere (we can discuss this if you have questions).
