You must use at least two social structures (social class, gender, race/ethnicity, sexuality) to interpret your life experiences from an intersectionality perspective. You should draw connections between social structures and your experience as you navigate social institutions (e.g., work, school, family, religion, the economy, the law, the justice system, healthcare, government institutions, education) and/or culture (e.g., religious beliefs, dating, fashion, art, language) or communities you may belong to.
