Objective: There is evidence that organizations are now increasingly evaluating their supply chains to ensure that their reputations and business activities are not harmed by some of their suppliers. In addition, consumers are generally becoming more discerning with their choices of products.
Task: Given the above developments, students will prepare a formal research paper on any ethical sourcing issue of supply chain transparency. YOU WILL ASSESS SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES WITH TRANSAPRANCY AND HOW BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY CAN HELP IMPROVE THAT ISSUE
The deliverables are as follows:
Structure of the research paper
Title
Abstract- This should be succinct and concise- not to be confused with an introduction. In essence, the abstract is a snapshot of the entire work (not more than 250 words)
Introduction/background/rationale behind the ethical issue that you have identified.
Literature review- what does the literature say about the issues under scrutiny. Include different viewpoints and debates. You can use relevant diagrams and images to support your discussion.
Methodology- how did you identify and collect the information you need.
Discussion synthesis of your work- what does this tell us, what are the emerging themes from preceding discussions?
