Part 1: Annotated Bibliography
Length: 5 sources with two paragraphs per source. In total, 10 paragraphs.
Topic: The uses and abuses of technology and media—from smart phones to social networks—seem to be on everyone’s mind. For this research project, research some pressing dilemma caused by the digital age that is changing (ruining?) our lives.
*The sources must be from the TSU library/databases
Part 2: Reflection Essay
Length: 600-800 words.
Overall, the main purpose of the reflection essay is to explain what you learned from your research over the aforementioned topic.
You should include the following in your essay:
-Explain what you thought about the issue before you researched it.
-Explain if your perspective on the issue changed or stayed the same.
-Which article/source was most helpful and explain why.
-Which article/source was least helpful and explain why.
*The section should be developed effectively, with an introduction, multiple body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Use the aforementioned statements to help develop the body paragraphs; essentailly, each statement could form a body paragraph.
**The reflection should have a clear thesis in the introduction. The thesis should state the purpose of the reflection, and what you plan to convey to your readers.
