explains at least one major theory in criminal justice and criminology. In the paper, I would like
you to identify the theory’s associated theorist(s), and then use the theory to explain a selected
behavior (e.g., crime), event (e.g. victimization). There are dozens, if not hundreds of theories
presented in Chapters 4-13 of your book. Chapters 4-9 include all of the major theories we will
cover. Included in those discussions are how those theories explain certain criminal behaviors.
Chapter 10,11, 12, and 13 explain specific criminal behaviors (murder, rape, burglary,
embezzlement, etc) and also discuss theories that have attempted to explain the behavior.
