Discuss an analytical essay on the “healing journeys” written about in the book Ceremony by Leslie Silko. This is an AP English and Lit class. I completed the assignment once and got a horrible grade on it so the teacher is giving me a chance to re-do it. She told me that my thesis was very poor and that all I did was state facts of the text rather than making a claim that a reasonable person could argue. She wants a thesis that is both debatable and defensible. She also said that all my essay did was retell what happened in the book. I also was supposed to use an outside source to learn more about healing journey’s and cite it. I can upload my previous essay if needed.
