For this assessment task you will critically discuss and apply various theoretical and disciplinary approaches to tourist behaviour. It is in two parts, and is designed to provide the foundation for your second assessment task, the research report.
Part A (15%)
Choose three of the four specified myReadings. There will be one from each of the following categories/topics:
Motivations for Travel (Topic 2)
Destination Choice (Topic 3)
Embodiment (Topic 4)
Behaviours – souvenir purchases (Topic 5)
Then answer the targeted questions on those three chosen readings as per the attached worksheet.
PART B (15%)
Informed by the readings, study guide, lectures, tutorials and other readings you find on your own, write six (6) interview questions that will be among those you wish to ask your interviewee for Assessment 2: Report. You will need to write two (2) questions for any three (3) of the categories/topics considered in Part A. Your questions on these topics should be written so they will help you gather the data needed for your report.
