You were hired as a consultant to Electro Logic’s owner to identify performance and motivation problems and recommend changes to address identified problems. Prompting the request by the owner has been the rapid growth of the firm and rumors of growing disappointment and disenchantment within the firm.
Using Figure 6.5 (p. 287 ) in the text as a guide you are to focus on the following two areas.
Identify what you feel are the top three performance problems and with supporting evidence (from the interviews) from the case that this problem exists.
Recommend actions for each identified performance problem. Please be specific and thorough.
