For your three-page essays:
Summarize the assigned readings – 20% of paper
Discuss key takeaways across the readings – 40% of paper
Discuss the application of the main takeaways to your project and the wider business community. – 40% of paper
Cite your relevant sources. All essays will be submitted via Canvas and will be assessed for plagiarism. Use APA referencing style.
Beware: it is obvious when students only do a portion of the readings and try to develop a paper around that portion. You should read all of the assigned materials and demonstrate this in your analysis by integrating the different concepts.
Papers that demonstrate students’ superior ability to integrate the readings and draw conclusions that are important to managers and/or policy makers will receive a score of an A, whereas a D score will be awarded to papers that have weak analytical form and construction.
Three-pager essays are intended to be no more than three page. If your arguments spillover onto additional pages, they will not be considered in your grade and deducted by 5%.
With respect to formatting, your essay should be double-space. No less than 1-inch margins and 12-point font are acceptable. I enforce formatting requirements. Smaller fonts and margins will be deducted 10% point.
