Combine Literary Analysis with Historical Analysis of the Revolutionary Period in American History
Students will analyze the period and how the literature of the time reflected its values, struggles, and ideas. Less than half the paper will focus on historical analysis. The second half will be an analysis on prominent authors (at least 3) and their works of the time.
The research paper must make a connection between the authors and the time period, explain how the author expresses the ideas and sentiments of the time, do they represent or oppose the view at the time
