The potentially deadly Coronavirus has changed our lives and has been at the top of public conversation for 2 years now. Eighteen months after the first vaccinations were administered, 28% of Americans still have not received an initial dose. Politics and an insurgence of a minority of people promulgating personal rights over the protection of all people has played a significant role for some to evade vaccination and reduce the number of cases and deaths.
How has the virus impacted our personal and professional lives? How has the political environment impacted the status and allegiance to public health? Choose one local, state or national agency, discuss what activities the agency is doing to increase the number of vaccinated persons. Are there other activities they could do to further mobilize vaccinations and prevent further spread? How have other countries increased their vaccination rates? What do you predict will be the outcome in 6 months from now?
