Goal: Participants will achieve an in-depth understanding of one aspect of EMOTION in the research literature, and identify the context of where this aspect fits in the study of emotion more generally.
Objective: Participants will be able to identify, explain, and critique one specific area of the research literature pertaining to emotion in mental functioning. Participants will be able to identify and discuss how this research area fits in the broad study of emotion.
Requirement: Participants will write one critique (5 pages) of a primary journal article focused on EMOTION (using either a reference from the class, or a reference approved by the instructor). In this critique, participants will also identify and discuss how this specific research area fits in the broad study of emotion. See CA Paper Rubric. ( I will send the articles for it afterward)
