Analyse the attached document containing answers from a data collection task on: 3 languages – Finnish, Turkish and Spanish 4 scenarios – 2 requests, 2 apologies 4 native speakers of each language Analyse the data findings using Blum-Kulka and Olsthain′s model. Highlight the similarities and differences of all the responses. Discuss the basic biographical data from each participant – gender/age/languages spoken and write some points on how this may have affected the responses. Then discuss the responses in terms of how they relate to the culture of the countries. Overall Aim: Investigate the similarities and differences among the languages and cultures and compare and contrast them.
