A letter of intent is a document that tells/shows the admissions committee that you are still very interested in the schools program and in admittance into their school.
A letter of intent should:
Be short and sweet; direct and to the point; make your intentions clearly defined
Professional looking document style/envelope
Clearly state your interest in the program (ex. this school has always been my first choice).
State why the program is for you (ex. they are community based..etc)
State what you can offer the school (how will they benefit from your presence)
If you were accepted at another dental school, let the admissions committee know that you are willing to decline admission to other school upon acceptance at their school.
