Evolving into a Balanced Critical Thinker Specifically pay attention to the section on Intellectual courage, about half way down the page. Get your brain juices going by thinking about a time you’ve demonstrated intellectual courage. What did it look like?
Next, think about the pros and cons to demonstrating intellectual courage. Then, think about a time (or times) when you have engaged in the impediment of Fears. What personal experiences have you had with the impediment? Did you implement remnants of intellectual courage? How so?
Based on the information you’ve accumulated, write 3-4 paragraphs discussing your thoughts and answers from Steps 1, 2 and 3. Be sure to answer all of the questions being asked of you. Also, be sure to use APA formatting that includes double spacing, 12 pt. Times New Roman font, proper APA citations for all sources to which you refer, and be free of grammar and spelling errors.
