Four page plus a reference page
Find a professional journal article related to a topic from the textbook of your choice. Make sure the article is scholarly, peer-reviewed, published within the last 7 years, and at least 8 pages of content (i.e., not including the reference pages).
Next, write a journal article review that summarizes what you read including the purpose, key points, results, and an evaluation of the article (these four areas of discussion could be used as paper headings).
You may want to consider the following prompts when writing your evaluation:
a) How do the results compare to what you have learned in class?
b) What are the practical implications/applications of the research?
c) What are the limitations of the research?
d) How is the research limited in its ability to be generalized?
e) What questions about the research topic remain unanswered?
Be sure that your paper is double-spaced, 2-3 pages in length (content/discussion), Times New Roman font, and includes a title and reference page. The title and reference page are not included in the page length (i.e., the submission will be 4-5 pages total). This assignment uses a rubric (see attachment) and will be submitted to Turnitin.
IMPORTANT: Turnitin scores should be below 30% similarity prior to grading. The DRAFT DROPBOX can be used to determine any needed adjustments prior to submission. Please be aware that both quoted and paraphrased content must be cited. Direct quotes should be used infrequently (if at all)!
Papers must include support from the textbook and other sources (at least 3 scholarly sources) to support the claims being made and use APA format (7th Edition). A template demonstrating APA format (7th Edition) has been provided for reference.
