You are expected to choose either a peer reviewed article on current Employee Relation practice through Emerald Insight or a chapter of the Australian Workplace Relations edited by Julian Teicher textbook.
After you are familiar with the article or chapter, make notes on some of the following questions.
Answer the following questions in your critical review piece.
What kind of article is it (for example does it present data or does it present purely theoretical arguments)?
What is the main area under discussion?
What are the main findings?
What are the main issues raised by the author?
What are the major points/interpretations made by the author in terms of the issues raised?
