Research question: What are the Key predictions of the Biden vote across Geogia counties in 2020?
Dependent variable: percentage of Biden Votes
6 Independent Variables: Population density, percentage of college degree, percentage of African American, 2016 Clinton vote percentage across Georgia counties, Percentage of residents by 65 Years and older, covid cases per 100,000
Hypothesis:
As population density increases, the percentage of the vote for Biden will also increase.
As the percentage of the population with a college degree increases, the percentage of the vote for Biden will increase.
As the percentage African American population increases, the percentage of the vote for Biden will also rise.
The counties That voted for Clinton in the 2016 presidential election were more likely to vote Biden in the 2020 presidential election.
As the population of 65 & older increase, the percentage of votes for Biden decrease.
As the covid cases per 100,000 people increase, the percentage of votes for Biden Increase.
