1. Each student will need to research a job opportunity for licensed nurses
(RN or LPN) advertised in the newspaper, internet, or other recruiting
medium. This job can be anywhere in the world and it can be any type
position for licensed nurses, advanced practice nurses, nurse educators,
and nurse administrators. It must be an actual job advertisement for a
nurse. (20 points)
2. Prepare a poster or PowerPoint presentation that includes/addresses the
following areas:
Setting of job
Qualifications of job
Responsibilities
Approximate salary
Benefits
(Note: All areas must be addressed. If unable to obtain
salary for the particular job, you can go online and “Google” nursing
salaries in different states and get an average or approximation.)
