Below you have a choice of questions that will allow you to analyze the material from lectures and readings using facts and key terms as evidence. Choose one and label it.
Use essay format with an introduction including a thesis statement that gives your argument, body with examples backing up your argument, and a conclusion that indicates how important your argument is that you’ve just proven.
Use at least three concrete examples of counterexamples from at least three different national or regional contexts. These examples can be from the readings, lectures or discussions. Be as specific as possible. Use the essay to show what you have learned from the reading, taking the quizzes, lectures, documents, images and discussion. You will be graded on a combination of clarity, appropriate use of detailed concrete evidence, accuracy, coherence, structure of argument, strength and depth of argument.
