You will be assigned three primary texts related to one of the “essential elements” of THE 1000C. The texts will be uploaded below.PLEASE DO NOT FIND OUTSIDE SOURCES, ONLY THE TEXTS I UPLOADED FOR YOU. NO NEED FOR A REFERENCE PAGE JUST REFER TO READINGS IN TEXT.
You will be asked to write a 750-1000 words written response (3 pages length, double spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman) to the readings according to the following directions:
1) Briefly and concisely state the main idea of each reading (What is the author’s argument/thesis/main point?)
2) Briefly describe any points of agreement or disagreement (Do the author’s agree on a given point? Do they disagree?)
3) Evaluate and take a position on the readings (Do you agree with one author over another? Why/why not? What is your own
position in relation to the readings?)
Students will be graded according to the following rubric: Depth of Content and Critical thinking, Grammar, Style.
