Your overview should give a brief description of the topic on which you will write your final research paper. Your topic can be anything related to the study and issues of urban sociology. Your overview should include:
· Your topic of study( I put my research topic above)
· A clear research question
· The literature you are engaging with (broad areas) and what has already been found
· What you will either bring to this topic of study or challenge within this topic of study. Your abstract should be single-spaced in 12 pt Times New Roman font (no more than one page).
Annotated Bibliography: Your overview will also contain 2-3 academic sources (published books, articles in academic journals, etc.) that you will use to develop your research paper. Your sources can either be taken from the syllabus or other sources that you find, as long as they relate to urban sociology (note that for the final paper you should have 1-2 pages of cited sources). You will follow each citation with 2-3 sentences that describe:
· An overview of the source
· How these sources fit into your topic of study and/or research question
Your annotated bibliography should be in MLA format.
