Citations can be of any format, but must be used when needed (i.e. when you quote a fact) and must be consistent through the essay.
Include: Title Page, Table of Contents, Introduction, some pages of specific content, Summary, Conclusions, References.
You may want to include maps, photos, graphs, etc. that help tell the story, but keep each of them 1/2 page or less in size.
