As special education teachers, it is imperative to understand how to read and explain a comprehensive report. There will be data collected and provided by many different professionals and the purpose of the report is to interpret and explain this data clearly and concisely, providing rationale for the recommendations within. The purpose of this assignment is to become familiar with the sections of a comprehensive report and the types of information they should include and be able to explain the results in a visual manner to parents.
Review the following Evaluation Comprehensive Report:

Use the WISC-IV Explanatory Chart(See Atachments) and the Woodcock-Johnson Explanatory Chart (See Atachments) as guides to understand the concept of scoring.
Review the Test Results Section of the Report:
Create a visual (graphic) and description of what you can share with parents to help them understand the scores for the following areas:
Word Comprehension & Passage Comprehension

Please see in the attachment and example of what could be created for each area of the report. The example includes a graphic of Derek’s reading level compared to his peers do parents can see what the data means and a description.
