First, please give your impressions on the Blue-eyed Brown-eyed experiment. What did you find shocking/not shocking about the experiment. Do you think Elliot was justified in carrying out the experiment on school children? Why or why not? What did you personally take away from the videos? Second, discuss the film 4 Little Girls. What did you find most troubling and/or disturbing about the cultural climate of the time? Next, do you think these tensions are ones that still exist in society today? Why, where, and how? What strides do think have been taken to correct these tensions, and where has society and the government fallen short? This needs to have enough specific information to show the film was watched. Saying something like it was hard to watch all the violence and protesting is NOT specific information. Third, what do you think was the major difference in the Supreme Court from Plessy to Brown? How and why do you think the court reversed its own decision? This is not to be a summary of the court’s decision, but why you believe they changed their stance.
