The title of my paper is ,Impact of pre fabriction technology and equipment on profitability among construction companies in Kuwait.I have already finished a draft and i have received feedback from my professor that i would like you to do. Please carefully read my draft and carefully apply the following feedback that i received from my professor.’Many thanks for sending your draft proposal for my review. I think you have done a good job of citing literature and maybe there is more scope to improve that further. Also the use of the word “pre-fabrication” seems a very old term to what we most of the time call “modern methods of construction” or “modular construction” or “modular building”. Hence consider revising. Although you have found a good number of articles, you may also want to refer to the following authors (Gibb, Issac, Pasquire). They may have published some of the latest articles on this subject which you want to bring to the critical review further.Another point that I wish to raise is that you have not found many articles related to that area from Kuwait (as referred to by you as “scanty information”, which is actually “scant information”). That could very well be due to the fact that there may be certain issues in modular construction that might not be favourable to Kuwait. Or it may be an area as you say that is under researched. But you need to further reinforce your justification of using modular construction within Kuwait so that it justifies doing this research in your country. In the event if there is lack of journal articles in Kuwait may be you could gain information from your “central bank statistics” economic forums, construction magazines, contractor websites in Kuwait etc.,Also in the title you use the term “technology and equipment” I am not sure whether you have adequately defined what this means. Doesn’t technology include equipment? Please clarify.In terms of your objectives;First objective – instead of “to highlight…” its better to say “Critically review literature on identifying the importance of prefabrication,,,,,,Third objective – instead of “ascertain….” Better to say, “To identify….”Fourth objective- better to say “critically compare…”In terms of your research strategy, you have mentioned about case studies and surveys. Presumably you have access to these case study companies and can conduct these case studies soon in line with your timeline. If you currently don’t have any connections with these companies then it may be very difficult, in which case you might want to reconsider the research strategy further. ‘If you have any questions please ask me.
