Argumentative text
You have the task of writing a debate article in which you argue for how the societal problem of gang crime should be solved. Before you start writing, you need to choose which thesis to argue for. The thesis should be a proposal for how the societal problem in question should be solved. You should start from what you have learned about the societal problem in the sources we worked with when choosing your thesis. (Range 600-1000 words)

MY THESIS:
Studies show that the suspects in gang crime are mainly male young people. Poverty, poor parental support, lack of proper schooling, drug and weapons possession are the main causes of crime, and since they are young people, these problems should be solved immediately by the government through preventive measures throughout society.
