Where is your country? What are some of the basic statistics that are relevant to health and illness (e.g., demographics, religion, economic situation, political situation)?
Health and Disease: What are the most frequent illnesses in your country? What can you find out about health behaviors/ health habits and how they affect illness (this could be, but is certainly not limited to, sexual behaviors, exercise, diet, smoking, alcohol, drugs, etc.)
Health Care System and Treatment: Is there a health care system? If so, what is the structure of the health care system? Who is in charge of treatments (doctors, nurses, lay personnel, family, healers, etc.)? What are typical settings for treatments (hospitals, private practices, etc.)? Is there a health insurance system, and if so, how does it work?
Unique Fact: Include something that strikes you as really unique about the way health and disease are addressed in your country. I mean this in the broadest sense possible: this can be anything from general ideas about health and disease, to public health policy, to treatment approaches. (Note: unique facts should be relevant to the health of your country, not just random fun facts)
Summary and Conclusions: Give a clear but concise summary of the major findings of your poster. Reflect on how health in your country is different from that in the United States. What can we learn from them? What can they learn from us?
Sources: Cite your sources in APA format. You should use sources outside of the textbook. In fact, we encourage you to use a wide variety of reliable sources, such as text books, journal articles, reliable online resources (e.g., World Health Organization). [Sources can be included on the back of the poster if you need the space].
