This is a mathematical project that is aiming to analyse patterns in social media, particularly on the Instagram platform. A variety of variables have been devised that will require a individual coefficient. Once the coefficients have been determined the resultant formula will be used to create a weighting used to determine a score. A thesis has been defined and the following structure should be used in the write up: 1. Abstract – of approximately 300 words summarizing the aims and scope 2. Introduction – introduces a specific research topic, its scope, and significance, gives a review of relevant literature, and briefly outlines the logical structure of your dissertation. 3. Body of the paper – should be structured into several chapters that contain proofs and details of numerical implementations. 4. Conclusion – restates the main arguments, tells about the consequences, and provides suggestions for future work. Good experience in expectation modelling will be favoured. The project will also require the ability to reference historical data on Instagram. The dissertation should be written to British higher education academic standards
