Consider a way that you have observed a culture around you to have changed over the past few years or decades. First, identify and describe the culture you are observing. What parts, or elements, of the culture are changing and why? You may have to hypothesize a bit, but consider the other social factors or pressures that may be causing or influencing this cultural shift. Then, consider the different types of cultural change as described in OpenStax chapter 3. Which type of change do you think is happening in your example? Finally, consider what the outcome or future of this cultural change may be. How does it affect people in terms of identity, relationships, and general well-being?
One of the resources you will use is the book called : “Introduction to Sociology Openstax)” but only chapter 3. I will upload the other resources you are to use.
