Directions: Following the I CAN START conceptual framework, outline very briefly considerations that might be helpful in working with Chad in regards to each of the letters of I CAN START. Use 1-3 sentences to share what you might do in the treatment planning process for Chad.

N = Necessary Level of Care (Based on what you read about the client, what level of care is needed?) (office visits, group work, outpatient, hospitalization etc.)

S = Strengths (What strengths did you read about the client?)

T = Treatment Approach (What is your approach to treatment? Theoretical Foundation?) (Share one theory you would use?)

A = Aim and Objectives of Treatment (SMART Goals- Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound) (Share one SMART Goal)

R = Research-Based Interventions (Share one research-based intervention)

T = Therapeutic Support Services (Share one support service you would share with client.)
