Write a policy brief to convince the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) of the urgency of Funding for Public Health IT Workforce Development Programs at U.S. Community Colleges and other 2-year institutions and the need to adopt an expanded PHIT Workforce Program that ensures community colleges are included.
Use the attached policy brief example as a model for sections and format to include – purpose, key findings, background, methods, results, and discussion. The paper MUST include at least one table, and one figure, and a statistical analysis that demonstrates why including community colleges in this initiative would result in: (1) a greater impact on strengthening U.S. public health information technology efforts; (2) improving COVID-19 data collection; and (3) increasing representation of underrepresented communities within the public health IT workforce.
Chicago author-date citation style will be required.
