treadmill of production theory in this paper and relating it to the Neoliberalistic mindset that takes place due to this. Capitalism creates a perfect melting pot for neoliberalism to take place which causes many conflicts environmentally, leaving the working class to deal with the blunt force of it. Neoliberalism thrives under capitalism leaving these elite corporation owners to have no regard for how much product they produce. A perfect example is at the end of ww2 there was a rapid expansion of economic development, enabling companies to form this neoliberalism mindset to overproduce and use an excessive amount of natural resources to keep up with the massive demand that was created. This type of surplus has drastically harmed our environment over time, overproduction raises co2 carbon emissions due to excess trash being created and the amount of machinery being used to dump this trash. Heavy-duty equipment causes us to emit excess co2 carbon into the atmosphere and the majority of our trash is dumped into the oceans, which poisons our oceans and harms the overall oxygen outputs, which creates a higher co2 emission into the atmosphere. This is all a result of neoliberalism which leads to overproduction.
