Discuss them at length. Simply repeating what was in the chapter readings will not be acceptable. Write about how you conceptualized the new information and how it impacted your thinking and changed your approach to the aged. BE ADVISED: I abhor quotes in a student paper. Points will be deducted for quotes! I can read what the author(s) wrote for myself. I want to know your thoughts, not someone else’s ideas. Speaking of someone else’s ideas, fair warning; Be sure what you submit are your thoughts. I know most folks do not need such a reminder but just to be transparent, each paper will be submitted to Turnitin for similarity in other publications. Substantial similarity will result in a zero, with no opportunity to revise. If the similarity is less than 50%, I will deduct points accordingly. For instance, a 41% similarity (minus references) will result in a 41% reduction of points of the Final’s grade. You will receive a copy of Turnitin’s similarity report, if needed. Of course, the reference page, if done correctly, will affect the paper percentage of similarity (a minimum of 6 references required other than the chapter readings-this will help flesh out your paper).
