Using knowledge from the course, analyze a personal, local, national, or national conflict. Choose any conflict of your choice. Give a written report stating: The parties involved, the separate issues, the proposed solutions, and submit your suggested solutions. The paper must be APA format with a title page and reference section. The written part of the paper not including the title page and reference section should be 6 to 7 pages. So with the title page and reference section it will be 8 to 9 pages. Address the following issues: a. differences between your own and others’ perceptions b. what their conflict style triggers in others c. positive and negative features of their conflict style d. how flexible they are in their choice of style e. where/ how they learned their style You will need to lay the groundwork for your comparative analysis by discussing the basic theoretical perspective on conflict styles discussed in your text and in class. If you find that the two generate different results, you should make an argument about what may account for any differences. The final section of your paper should include reflection about their styles and their effectiveness. Remember to support any claims you make in this paper with appropriate support and documentation.
