The goal of EBP is to utilize the best available evidence to inform decision-making and care practices, producing quality patient outcomes. As such, the body of evidence gathered through effectively searching the literature must not only be appraised but also synthesized. A synthesis and leveling table can serve as valuable tools to organize and process findings and the applicability of the evidence. Therefore, this assignment establishes a foundation for you to demonstrate your knowledge and skills relating to the synthesis and leveling of evidence relating to your topic of interest
FOR PART ONE THIS WEEK: YOU WILL BE COMPLETING AN EVALUATION TABLE AND A SYNTHESIS TABLE.
Evaluation table is: You will be putting your three articles into a table format so whoever is looking at your evidence can quickly see what your article is all about. What this is basically you are going to summarize your article into a table format thats going to allow the reader to make more rapid decision on the quality of your evidence and make decisions what we should do based on your evidence.
The synthesis table is similar, but we are focusing on certain things so what we probably going to be focusing on is the outcome synthesis table, so out of all the articles you chose what do the outcome show.
