For this paper, you are going to discuss Romanticism as a reaction to the Enlightenment. In a minimum of four pages: Identify the main characteristics of the Enlightenment as the Age of Reason including important philosophical thinkers and their main ideas Discuss how the ideals of the Enlightenment was seen through the arts including specific works of art and how they represent the Enlightenment Identify the main characteristics of Romanticism including important philosophical thinkers and their main ideas Discuss how the ideals of Romanticism was seen through the arts including specific works of art and how they represent Romanticism As you are discussing the characteristics and arts of Romanticism be sure to discuss how they are specifically a reaction to the Enlightenment. This paper should not just be a collection of Enlightenment values and works, and then a collection of Romantic values and works.
