Las Cajitas Final Project Create a brief introductory paragraph, explaining the Las cajitas project (Race & Ethnicity, Gender & sexuality, Geographic Location and Language, Diet, Class, family), and who you are, and concluding remarks that answer the following questions. 1. What did you learn about yourself by doing this project? 2. What portion(s) of your identity were you most uncomfortable sharing? 3. What portion(s) of your identity are you most conscious of? Why? 4. How will understanding your own multiple cultural identities, as well as reading some of your classmates’ change how you interact, communicate with, “size up”, or otherwise engage with others? 5. What will you do with this new understanding and acknowledgement of yourself, as well as a better understanding of the multiple cultural identities all of us have? Identify a plan, including at least two specific action items to be accomplished in the short term (in the next month), that you can do. (i.e., share what you’ve learned with a relative, ask more questions of your family and friends, reach out to someone who is different than you, and find out their story, etc).
