Write a comprehensive literature review article on the neurobiology of depersonalization. One has not been written since 1998, and there is not as much consolidated information formally published in other resources (i.e., psychiatric textbooks, scientific volumes).
The focus on depersonalization across dissociative disorders (especially evident in Complex PTSD/DPDR Disorder) will provide insight into a term other researchers have coined “mental death” – a loss of a victim’s pre-trauma identity.
