From this general question, develop at least 3-5 of your own questions that will help you get meaningful responses from your prospective interviewees.
This will require some brainstorming.
The better your questions, the better the response you will get from your interviewees.
Once you have your 3-5 interview questions, identify the 3 people you plan to interview. Remember, each interviewee needs to be from a different background. For example, you may interview one professional such as an instructor, one student, one person from another country. These examples are only intended to give you ideas about how to diversify your choices. There is no right or wrong way to choose interviewees. The objective is to get opinions from folks with different backgrounds and perhaps views.
Interview three people using the questions you generated in step 1.
Take notes to include the name of the person interviewed, time and date. You may also find that some of what they say will be worthy of direct quotes in your essay, so strive for accuracy.
