Refer to the duties of the Operations Sergeant Major in ATP 6-0.5, Chapter 3 Command Post Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
For the duties for this role, write/construct your addition to the SOP for the 1-1 SBCT CP through the lens of the War Fighting Function (WFF) risks to mitigate (see handouts). Remember, SOPs are specifically customized to an organization.

1. Employ munitions that will minimize collateral damage to religious buildings, monuments, or other protected targets
**Within the SOP given in the M450 SOP Learner Handout 2, it shows the sections and what the WFF risks to mitigate are. That can act as a starting point to understand what is expected of each group. I would suggest reading through your sections in all the associated handouts for this lesson (as a minimum) to grasp the tactical situation and be able to formulate ways to mitigate those risks.
