Zovio.), An Empirical Investigation of Self-Attitudes, Culture as Patterns: An Alternative Approach to the Problem of Reification, and Culture and Self: Implications for Cognition, Emotion, and Motivation. *Use these references as they are required to answer the questions. In this discussion, you will consider patterns that have shaped your sense of self. First, introduce yourself to the class by completing the Twenty Statements test: *I did this part. There are twenty numbered blanks on the page below. Please write twenty answers to the simple question Who am I? in the blanks. Just give twenty different answers to this question. Answer as if you were giving the answers to yourself, not to somebody else. Write the answers in the order that they occur to you. Dont worry about logic or importance. Does my description fit with predictions of theory and research on the self, gender, and culture? – Identify some of the primary cultural influences in your life.
