Prepare a family systems analysis of their own families of origin. This analysis should include complete three-generational genograms, a family life chronology for at least two generations, and a discussion of the systems principles at work in these families with an emphasis on the student’s nuclear family unit (i.e. parents/siblings). Students should NOT simply provide a genealogy of the family or character sketches of family members.
