Each reflection is required to be a minimum of 3-4 pages in length and adhere to APA formatting and organization requirements. Additionally, a minimum of 2 scholarly references supporting your reflection is required for each submission.

Reflection I: The Early Years ages 0-12
1. Discuss your self-concept and level of self-esteem. What experiences or relationships influence your self-concept and level of self-esteem?
2. What role did culture, gender, and/or identity play in your overall identity and communication?
3. Compare and contrast your public and private self during this stage of development.
4. Review the section common tendencies in perception (chapter 4, pp. 120-123) of the text and discuss its application to yourself at this stage of development.
5. Discuss your perceptions of the world during this stage of development.
6. What does the literature say about your experience during this stage of development and your interpersonal skills today?
