Use this writing prompt: “Does Philosophy Help Us to Understand What it Means to be Human?” Here are some suggestions for writing a good PRP: Read the assigned reading and watch assigned videos, making note of anything that catches your interest, raises questions for you; things that strike you as odd, difficult to understand, vague, important. This “immediate reaction” may become the raw material you use to write your PRP, shaping and editing it later. Take note of any change of mind you may experience, from the start of the reading to the conclusion. What forced you to change your mind? What points in the readings seem decisive for you? Write your one-page response to the question, centering the question at the top of your paper.
