Open House: PowerPoint Presentation
Topic Mathematics Grade 12
The purpose of this assignment is twofold: (1) to increase the knowledge base in the application of technology, and (2) to apply the use of technology to practical, real-life situations. This assignment will provide the student with the opportunity to improve their personal skills and proactively plan the first few weeks of school. To complete this project, you will need:
1. Access a PowerPoint™ program to develop a presentation. Create at least twelve slides with a minimum of 24 pt. font for each slide and no more than four bullet points per slide.
2. Demonstrate the skills necessary to produce a minimum of twelve engaging slides.
3. Develop the slides for the school’s traditional “Open House” (or orientation presentation) held during the first few weeks of school.
4. Create the twelve slides for a presentation for visiting parents/guardians.
5. Provide color, font, and presentation according to the theme.
6. Add drawings to help with the presentation.
7. Add movement and music.
