Write a social media protocol for your current job or for a company you would like to work for. If your current job (or dream job company) already have a policy, then create a social media policy for College of Westchester employees.
Protocol could include some of the following and add more as you decide fit:
•Policy Details: what exactly is the policy?
•Scope – who is affected by this protocol?
•Access: What sites can employees use at work? Can they post at work (showing workplace or environment or other co-workers)
•Use of company account: Should employees respond to customers’ posts via your “official” channels?
•Is there any prohibited behavior?
•Policy on sharing confidential information and consequences of doing so.
